Education Ministry
The mission of the Educational Ministry of the Archdiocese of Thiruvananthapuram is to uplift the Latin Catholic community—especially those from traditional fishing and farming backgrounds—from centuries of social, educational, and occupational backwardness and integrate them into the mainstream. Its core objectives are to provide value-based, Christ-centered education that benefits children, families, and the wider community; to enhance the quality and effectiveness of existing educational initiatives within the Archdiocese while promoting higher education for better employment opportunities; to bring the marginalized Latin Catholic community into the social mainstream; and to introduce advanced educational courses and institutions that prepare students for promising national and international career opportunities.
