The Role of the Family Apostolate in the Parish

Vision:
Christ-centered families as the foundational unit of the Kingdom of God.

Objective:
To build a Christian community committed to the holistic growth and wellbeing of families.

The Parish Family Apostolate Ministry Committee is an organized structure at the parish level dedicated to nurturing family bonds in the light of Christian faith and values, and to preserving the traditions of faith and moral values within families. The primary aim of this committee is to coordinate and actively engage in all activities related to family apostolate within the parish.

The sanctification and renewal of families is an indispensable component for the sanctification and renewal of the entire parish community. “A good tree bears good fruit” (Matthew 7:17-18). Only good families can give rise to other families that are fruitful for society. By leading family life according to the will of God, the families of the parish can attain true joy, peace, and unity. It is the mission of the Parish Family Apostolate Ministry members to assist all parish families in this journey.
